Biography
With simple construction paper cut-outs, a few crude jokes, and a lot of imagination, Trey Parker helped create one of the biggest phenomenons of the 1990s. Parker began making films as a teen when his father bought him a video camera, which led him to study film at the University of Colorado. While there he began working on his first film, the animated short American History. It was also at Colorado were he met another budding filmmaker, Matt Stone, and the twisted duo began work on the film Alfred Packer! The Musical!
After getting kicked out of the university for failing to attend classes, Parker moved to Los Angeles with Stone to look for work. The two created the black and white short Your Studio And You, a spoof about the movie industry starring such personalities as Sylvester Stallone and Steven Spielberg.
