Scott Wolf has occasionally been compared to Tom Cruise, a comparison he enjoys. Wolf’s TV debut came in a recurring role as a quarterback on Evening Shade, starring Burt Reynolds, during the series final two seasons. His charming good looks and dimples have been seen in other series work, including Blossom, The Commish, Saved By The Bell and Parker Lewis Can’t Lose.
Wolf’s talent was first noticed by family friend, former actor Clint Brady. To learn about acting, Wolf studied at New York's HB Studio and Playhouse West in California with Robert Carnegie.
Wolf received his big break in television by being cast as one of the five siblings suddenly orphaned in the popular TV series, Party of Five. He has won acclaim for his portrayal of a young man who chooses alcohol as a means to solve his problems eventually leading to his involvement in a rehab program.
