Reggie Miller's Kevo

Often compared to Jerry West, who is known as "Mr. Clutch", Reggie Miller has made a name for himself in the National Basketball Association. Born into a family of athletes, it was almost inevitable that Reggie Miller would become a star. Cheryl Miller, who is Reggie's older sister, is one of the greatest female basketball players of all time and now the general manager and coach of the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury. Not only does Reggie Miller's older sister have a history as a professional athlete, but also his brother Darrell Miller was an outfielder and catcher for the California Angels from 1984-1988.

Miller is thought of as one of the league's greatest pure shooters of all time and he was a member of the Dream Teams (United States Basketball Teams) in 1994 and 1996. Reggie Miller's ability to rise above others in the clutch has made him one of the NBA's most spectacular players and most enjoyable to watch, but despite his great talent, Miller is often criticized for his sportsmanship on the court. His offensive gestures and bad use of language, especially when playing the New York Knicks, is what has pushed people to think of Miller as a bad role model and one with poor sportsmanship. Miller has created an ongoing feud with his Pacers and the Knicks that will always be remembered as one of the greatest rivalries in NBA history. Miller has been an integral part of the Indiana Pacers organization since 1987 when he joined the league and now he still serves as the backbone of the team.
