Mary Bell was born to cause trouble. From the age of eleven she was already committing hard crimes, such as violent assaults that would take a damaged psyche years to develop into. Bell had a great deal of rage inside of her that was due to a lack of love, support, and stability in her life. Bell's stepfather was a man who made committing crimes a part of his livelihood. He spent most of his free time behind bars, and could never hold down a stable job to support his wife and child. Bell's mother, who was only a teenager when she had Bell, would pawn her child off to anyone that would take her, even going so far as to give Bell to a complete stranger outside of an abortion clinic. The lack of love in Bell's life was insuperable and visibly obvious, as she was known to tell peers in her school of her desires to project physical pain onto others.

Bell lived in a house that was just as empty as her life, and a pig sty, to boot. With parents who never cared about appearance or giving their child a loving home that she could be proud of, it was of no surprise that Bell would not care about the lives of others, as well. Bell was known to appear emotionless, and could never bond. On May 11, 1968, Mary Bell proved just that. From the age of eleven and on, Bell would attack small children with malice, but receive little punishment from the law due to her age. On May 25, 1968, Bell committed her first murder when she killed a four year-old boy. Two months later she would take the life of another young child, but would add mutilation to her crime. Bell was soon arrested for both murders and charged with manslaughter.

On May 14, 1980, Bell was released from prison. After years of being away from the influence of her mother, Bell began to reform herself with the help of a guard who became a strong fatherly influence in her life. Bell is now a mother of her own child and lives in Suffolk, England.
Work History
(1980) Mary Bell worked in various jobs as a waitress after being released from prison.

it is not right what she did by no means at all but your parents are supposed to be the making of you and she had no stability at all and her mother had sadistic sex in front of her daughter what is that going to do to her state of mind. by no means should she of been forgiven for what she did but just to accept what sort of upbringing she had to endure.
