Born to legendary screen star Henry Fonda, Jane Fonda seemed to live in the limelight. Fonda initially began her career in modeling, gracing the covers of such magazines as Vogue, Ladies Home Journal, and McCall's. With some prompting, she finally agreed to appear with her father in the Omaha Community Theatre production of The Country Girl in 1954.
