what is fame?

"Ivan Milat worked in construction with a road construction team in Australia, and developed a fascination for guns during this time. Milat was a misfit from the get go, with an immense ego, and was inclined to have a preoccupation with cleanliness. With a failed marriage behind him, Milat sought revenge on society by kidnapping, torturing and executing young tourists. Milatís abductions were well planned as he chose backpackers as his targets because they were inclined to travel alone. The knowledge that they would not be missed for a week or more, and were often eager for a free lift off of a friendly driver, gave him added security in his masterminding. Milat would drive to a secluded spot where he would then overpower them, tie them up, and drive to the Belanglo State Forest.
