"Scientific Breeders Offer Acts of Kindness

Not a day goes by that I’m not overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity offered to our special children around this nation. Scientific breeders that are not operating preserve are going the extra mile to join with U.S.S.A. and help us brighten the lives of these special children and their families by letting them tour their operation.

Three years ago Frank and Alice Lake from Oklahoma were the very first scientific breeders to offer U.S.S.A. a tour of their deer farm. Doug was a disabled young man from Wisconsin who like a lot of people had no idea that deer were being raised on farms across this nation. Doug told me he couldn’t get over how nice the Lake family was, “They treated me like I was a member of their family," he said. This Thursday Frank and Alice will be giving a tour to a 12 year old “special child” from their own home town. God bless you Frank and Alice!

To the vibrant lady “deer farmer” in Wisconsin who offered two deer to feed the hungry and a “mounting” for one of my special kids, thank you and God bless you! Also, many thanks to Joel Espe and his family who will be giving a tour of their elk farm to a young man from Wisconsin with a spinal cord injury.

We welcome any scientific breeder interested in offering a tour of their operation or donate an animal for a hunt to come on board with U.S.S.A. God bless you all.
